We are a non-medical Personal Assistance Services agency, Texas license #020448 — not an ambulance service and not medical transport. Our caregivers do not transport clients who need a stretcher, oxygen management, or medical monitoring en route, and they do not give medical advice at appointments. If your parent needs wheelchair-van or gurney transport, we will say so honestly and help you find it. What we provide is a steady arm, a safe driver, and a companion who makes the whole outing easier from the front door back to the front door.

How is this different from a rideshare or taxi?
A rideshare is curb-to-curb. Our care is door-through-door. The same background-checked caregiver helps your parent dress and get out the door, steadies them on the walk to the car, stays through the outing, and sees them safely back inside. For someone unsteady on their feet or living with memory loss, the difference is everything.
Will the caregiver stay during a doctor appointment?
Yes, if your family wants that. The caregiver can sit in the waiting room or, with your parent's permission, come into the visit and write down what the doctor says so nothing gets lost on the drive home. We are non-medical, so we take notes and share them with family — we do not give medical advice or make decisions.
Whose car is used, and is there a mileage charge?
Rides can be in the caregiver's vehicle or your parent's own car, whichever your family prefers. We will walk through the details, in plain numbers, at the free in-home assessment.
Can the caregiver run errands without my mother along?
Yes. Grocery runs, pharmacy pickups, dry cleaning, and post office trips can happen while your mother rests at home. Many families combine both — an outing when she feels up to it, errands handled for her when she does not.
How does billing work for a ride to the doctor?
Time is billed hourly with a four-hour minimum, and one visit covers a lot — the doctor appointment, the pharmacy, groceries and lunch on the way home, all in one trip at one flat rate. There is no levels-of-care pricing, and rates are published on our pricing page — no sales call required.
